Chelsea have been linked with Arsenal forward Alexis Sanchez, and he has also attracted interest from Manchester City and Bayern Munich.
Sanchez has one year left on his contract with Arsenal and is yet to sign a new deal.
Ahead of Chile’s Confederations Cup clash with Portugal, ITV pundit and former Chelsea striker Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink admitted that Sanchez is a quality player. He said: “He [Sanchez] is allowed to be a bit different or out of the group.
“It’s the group’s responsibility to keep him intact and keep on stimulating him to be part of it.
“I don’t know what [wages] he wants but if I was arsenal I would do everything in my power to keep this young man.
Hasselbaink then added that Sanchez’s ability to manoeuvre the defence of the opposing team makes him special.
He added: “He works that back four and makes space for others. It’s so important.”
