John Terry’s time at Chelsea is up and the question of who’ll take the armband remains and who’d be vice-captain in the new season.

Cesar Azpilicueta is being tipped for the Chelsea captaincy next season, but confusion over a recent sponsorship deal has got Blues fans thinking he could be taking something even Terry’s iconic jersey number 26.

Terry wore the 26 jersey for Chelsea and his jersey will be vacant for next season. However, rumours have sparked that Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta will wear the iconic captain’s number next season after Azpilicueta advertised his new link-up with sports brand Storelli, who provide under armour apparel along with other types of sporting wear.

Azpilicueta joined up with Manchester United’s Jesse Lingard with the brand, and in their promotion shots it shows them next to their club squad numbers.

Azpilicueta’s number is 22, but it seems Storelli made a mistake that has got people thinking Azpilicueta would take over Terry’s jersey number.

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
