Chelsea legend John Terry is set to leave Stamford Bridge at the end of the month after 22 years at the club but his next destination isn’t known to anyone yet.
Swansea manager Paul Clement has revealed his desire to work with John Terry next season at the Liberty Stadium and Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins has confirmed Clement has held talks with John Terry and his agent.
“I know Paul has spoken to John and his agent,” Jenkins said as quoted on Daily Express.
“I don’t know what his preferences are because he has options and will go with what suits his family.
“We are well covered in that area and quite strong but I know there is interest with Paul and he spoke with John and his agent himself.
“When Paul knows a players well it is an obvious one for us. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t but we will always try and do that.”
