Tammy Abraham was a hit for Bristol City in the Championship last season, and the Chelsea youngster is ready to take his goalscoring exploits to the Premier League next season.

The 19-year-old who scored 26 goals in all competitions for Bristol City last season has revealed his intentions of playing in the Premier League next season and testing himself there.

He revealed that he is yet to speak with Chelsea about his future.

“I haven’t spoken with Chelsea yet. I am focusing on this tournament (the European Under-21 Championships) so the discussions will happen after,” Abraham said.

Asked where he expected to end up, he said: ‘I’m not too sure. Hopefully it will be in the Premier League.

“After this season I need to take myself to the next level. That’s the type of person I am, I always want to do better. I always want to do more. So going into the new season my aim will be to top this one.”

Newcastle and Bristol City are reportedly interested in the Chelsea youngster.
