Three Chelsea youngsters Nathaniel Chalobah, Lewis Baker and Tammy Abraham have been selected in Aidy Boothroyd’s England Under-21 squad for the forthcoming U21 European Championships.
Chalobah is the joint-second most-capped player for England’s Under-21 side and featured in previous tournaments in 2013 and 2015. It will be Baker and Abraham’s first taste of international Under-21 tournament football.

Unfortunately, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Izzy Brown have been out of the 23-man squad due to injury.
The Euro U21 tournament in Poland starts next Friday 16 June with England’s first game against Sweden in Kielce. The hosts and Slovakia are also in their group which the Young Lions will be hoping to advance from for the first time since 2009.
England topped their qualifying group to reach the tournament, which now has 12 teams, for a record sixth time.
