Romelu Lukaku was a big hit for Everton last season as he scored 25 Premier League goals and ended the campaign as the second highest goalscorer in the league.
He has been linked with a return to Chelsea, and there seem to be divisions about how the 24-year-old will fare at Stamford Bridge.
For Liverpool legend Steve Nicol, the Belgian will struggle to replicate his Everton form at Chelsea, as he believes Lukaku won’t fit into Conte’s system.
“I’m not so sure it’s good business, it’s certainly going to happen,” Nicol said on ESPN FC.
“It’s great for Lukaku, he will certainly get a big bump in money.
“He’s going to a great team but I’m not sure he fits in.
“This is definitely going to happen but my goodness, when you’ve got rid of a player and then you spend a crazy amount of money getting him back.
“If indeed it happens, every man and his dog says it’s going to happen, I’m sure it will.
“Is he going to be a hit? I’m not so sure.”
Chelsea sold Lukaku back in 2013 to Everton for £28 million, as Jose Mourinho did not see him as one for the future.
