Kurt Zouma has been linked with an exit from Chelsea, with many clubs willing to take the 22-year-old on loan.
Marseille are among a number of clubs willing to snap up the 22-year-old France centre-back who is keen to play regularly in this World Cup year.
However, Zouma has revealed he’s determined to fight for a spot next season, despite featuring less for the Blues last season.
He said: “No. I’m very happy at Chelsea. I hear the rumours, it’s flattering. It means I’m a player people are looking at, but I’m not going to stop there.
“My objective is to stay at Chelsea. Next season, we’ll start from scratch, there will be a lot of games. The cards will be on the table. It’s up to me to work hard.”
Zouma was slowly reintroduced to the team after suffering a long-term injury, and explaining his careful re-introduction after his lengthy spell out, he added: “I wanted to be careful about relapsing.
“Often, people say it takes six months, but I wanted to be really certain I could come back, and to have the knowledge that I wouldn’t be stopped in my tracks again. It was the right thing to do”.
Zouma was behind Gary Cahill, David Luiz and Cesar Azpilicueta in the pecking order last season after being away from action for almost a year.
