Chelsea aren’t the only club that has been linked with Borussia Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. The 28-year-old also attracted interest from the moneybags in the Chinese Super League and many thought he’d move to the Far East to earn a huge pay before his career draws to a close.
CSL club Tianjin Quanjin were reportedly in for the prolific Gabon international, but the transfer didn’t happen and the transfer window in China has now closed with Aubameyang seemingly not taking them up on their big-money offer.
Reports claim that the 28-year-old rejected a four-year contract of around £26million a year to join Tianjin Quanjian, with the club offering Dortmund £70m for his signature.
Aubameyang is interested in staying in Europe and wants to play in the UEFA Champions League.
Besides Chelsea, PSG and AC Milan have also been linked with the 28-year-old who has been reportedly offered to the club for £65 million.
