Monaco midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko is set to become a Chelsea player after Chelsea finally agreed a transfer fee with Monaco, according to reports in France.
Manchester United were also reportedly interested in the 22-year-old midfielder but Bakayoko has chosen to join the Premier League champions.
According to RMC Sport chief football editor Mohamed Bouhafsi, Chelsea and Monaco have agreed a £40million fee for the transfer of Bakayoko.
Bakayoko is set to undergo his Chelsea medical on Friday according to the report and this would definitely excite the Chelsea fan base who have been eager to see the club confirm the deal for the Frenchman.
Bakayoko’s brother reportedly confirmed he would be joining Chelsea via his Snapchat account.
