Chelsea are still keen on selling Diego Costa this summer as Chelsea manager Antonio Conte seems fed up with the attitude of the 28-year-old.
However, only Atletico Madrid are interested in signing the Spain international but with Atletico having a transfer ban till the next transfer window, they won’t be able to feature Costa.
Turkish giants Besiktas have now offered to help out by signing Costa on loan for the next six months.
AS claimed yesterday that Besiktas could offer Costa the chance to stay fit with a loan move to Istanbul before heading to his adopted homeland when their ban ends in January.
And Besiktas boss Senol Gunes has now told reporters at the club’s Nevzat Demir training ground that he’d be keen to tie up a deal for Costa.
The Besiktas manager said: “Then there is Diego Costa, I want him but it will not be easy to pull off.
“If Diego is open to coming I would not say no.
“I could not refuse such a striker.”
