As we brought you earlier, Chelsea have made Alvaro Morata the number one striking target and are on the verge of signing the Real Madrid striker.
The deal is now almost a done deal, as Chelsea have confirmed that a fee has been agreed between Real Madrid and Chelsea for the 24-year-old striker.
Chelsea have released an official statement via its website, thus: Chelsea Football Club and Real Madrid have agreed terms for the transfer of Alvaro Morata to Stamford Bridge.

After missing out on Lukaku, Chelsea made Morata the top transfer target and have saved £15m on the signing of the Spain international. Telegraph Sport report that the Premier League champions will pay an initial £58m before add-ons.
The transfer fee is worth £60m and all that is left is for the Spain international to agree personal terms and pass a medical to complete the transfer.
Morata who scored 20 goals last season after rejoining Real from Juventus will be Chelsea’s 4th signing of the summer.
