New Chelsea signing Willy Caballero is enjoying the team’s pre-season tour of Singapore and has told the official Chelsea website just how things are going in the Far East.

He said: “We have a lot of things to do like ping pong, PlayStation and there are really competitive players in this kind of things.

“At PlayStation, Thibaut Courtois, N’Golo Kante and Cesar Azpilicueta are all the time fighting. At ping pong there are a lot of good players, better than me of course, and even in the bus when we go to the stadiums or to training we have a way to play golf on our phones altogether so we are really engaged with these kind of activities. People also rest in their rooms but it is important when we spend time together.

“The players most on the ping pong table are Marcos Alonso and now Alvaro Morata, but he arrived just a few days ago. Willian is very, very good but we have not done a competition, just we play for a few minutes.

“We sleep a lot because the training is long, the hot weather is exhausting for us, and we need to rest a lot, and because we changed the time, sometimes it is difficult to rest at night, but we now are perfectly rested because in the morning or the afternoon we have to work really hard.”

Loic Remy reveals he’d also enjoying the team’s pre-season tour and their activities, while admitting that it’s good for team unity.

He told the official Chelsea website: “It’s nice to have a good atmosphere in the squad. We have a lot of young players and a few new arrivals and they are all adapting well. If everybody is together off the pitch that will help us in the matches.

“I’m not very good at table tennis. Willian looks like he is the best at table tennis but I’m quite good at FIFA. Usually when we have some spare time I try to get in touch with my family because of the time difference, so I like to speak to them as often as possible.

“Between the two sessions I try to have a nap to recover properly but the rest of the time I watch movies or work on emails, just little things like that. It’s quite a long time to be away but it’s almost done and everybody is happy with the way we’ve been working.

“It’s my first time here in Singapore, I’ve heard a lot about the country and it’s very nice. It’s so clean and I will definitely try to come back here on holiday, I’ve really enjoyed it.”
