Chelsea defender Cesar Azpilicueta has been speaking about his Spain international teammate, Alvaro Morata, who just joined Chelsea from Real Madrid.
According to Azpilicueta, Morata arrives Chelsea with a proven pedigree at the top level. Azpilicueta also revealed Morata scores a lot of goals and important ones as well.
“I know him from playing together for Spain,” Azpilicueta told Chelsea’s official website.
“I’ve spoken to him and he told me he’s really happy to be joining Chelsea. He’s spoken to the manager and he’s feeling very pleased with the move. He knows this is a very demanding club but he has always played for top teams, so hopefully his experience will help us a lot.
“He has already proven his quality at big clubs such as Real Madrid and Juventus. In terms of his attributes as a striker, he scores a lot of goals, and important goals as well. He’s very good technically and he’s a strong player.
“The Premier League is different to Spain but I’m sure he will adapt and show his great ability. He’s a Spain international but he is young so obviously he can still improve further.”
