Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah could leave Chelsea on a permanent deal this summer with a report on Daily Mirror claiming the 22-year-old midfielder is in talks with Watford about a permanent switch to Vicarage Road.

The report claims Chalobah held talks with Chelsea boss Antonio Conte but wasn’t given assurances about first team opportunities by Conte.

Chalobah, who has just one year left in his Chelsea contract, is desperate to play regular first team football and moving to Premier League side Watford appeals to him, especially as he has already impressed on a loan spell there.

Chelsea and Watford are yet to agree a fee for Chalobah but Daily Mirror claim Chelsea are likely to want around £5m plus significant add-ons.
