19-year-old Chelsea defender Jake Clarke-Salter has signed a new four-year contract that will keep him at Chelsea until 2021.
Clarke-Salter made his Chelsea debut under Guus Hiddink on April 2nd 2016 in Chelsea’s 4-0 victory at Aston Villa, replacing Pedro in the 74th minute.
Clarke has won the UEFA Youth League and he spent last season on loan at League One side Bristol Rovers where he impressed during a season disrupted by injury.
Clarke-Salter was a key member of the England U-20 team that won the U-20 World Cup this summer. He was part of a formidable defensive duo that included another Chelsea youngster Fikayo Tomori.
