Chelsea new goalkeeper Willy Caballero has a big reputation for saving penalties. He saved a penalty by Eden Hazard last season but Hazard scored from the rebound when Chelsea played Manchester City at Stamford Bridge last season.
When asked his secret for saving penalties, Caballero revealed saving penalties is more about intuition.
“Yeah, in the last two seasons I have had the luck to save a few penalties,” Caballero said as quoted on Chelsea’s official website.
“I probably took more confidence from the first and second ones in the cup. It’s really difficult and it’s not a science to say this penalty goes this way or that way. It’s more about intuition and if we know the taker, probably we can choose something, but it’s really difficult.”
