While Antonio Conte’s transfer targets might not have been met so far, Chelsea might have granted Chelsea boss Antonio Conte another of his wish.
According to a report from the Telegraph, Chelsea have apparently granted Conte his wish to bring in Davide Mazzotta, who was his opposition scout and video analyst in the Italian national team setup.
The pair go back a long way, as former defender Mazzotta started his playing career at Lecce with Conte.
According to Matt Law of the Telegraph, Mazzotta is not viewed as a replacement for Steve Holland, as he is likely to be involved in the opposition scouting and video analysis department, and there could yet be another addition.
