Everton striker Romelu Lukaku is reportedly close to joining Premier League rivals Manchester United despite being linked with a return to Stamford Bridge this summer.

Former Venezuela international and pundit Alejandro Moreno has asked Chelsea to focus to sign Real Madrid striker Alvaro Morata after missing out on Chelsea.

Torino’s Andrea Belotti and Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the other strikers that have been linked with a move to Chelsea this summer.

“The pick of those three would be Alvaro Morata,” Moreno said on ESPN FC.

“If I’m making the choice, because I’m thinking of potential, I’m thinking of what future lies ahead, the age of the player, the productivity, what I think this guy can be for me.

“I think Alvaro Morata out of those three is the guy that I would go after.

“If I’m Chelsea and I’m struggling and now it feels like things are getting away from me, that’s a player I push all the chips into.”

Morata scored 20 goals for Real last season in all competitions.
