Chelsea have now completed the signing of Alvaro Morata from Real Madrid and the 24-year-old has been unveiled as a Blue after passing his medical with the English champions.

The 24-year-old striker has moved to Stamford Bridge for a reported fee of £60 million and the deal could move over £70 million depending on certain clauses. Morata has agreed a five-year contract with Chelsea, having played 43 times for the European champions last season, netting on 20 occasions.

Upon completing his transfer, Morata told the official Chelsea website: “I am so happy to be here. It’s an incredible emotion to be part of this big club. I am looking to work hard, score as many goals as I can and to win as many trophies as possible.”
