Antonio Conte took the Premier League by storm last season with his energetic and animated antics on the touchline. Even the likes of Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino who have high energy levels at some point got irritated by Conte’s actions.

However, the Italian has revealed that he loses so much energy after every game.

“I finish the game and I’m destroyed. I think I lose 2-3 kilos during the game,” he said.

“I try to transfer all my passion into my work. I know that in the future it will be very difficult to continue to have this, because to stay on the touchline and have this passion, you must have a lot of strength.

“In the future my strength will be less and then maybe I will try to keep myself calm and more seated.

“If you saw me as a footballer, when I played I always showed a great passion. The will to fight, to overcome difficulty with a run, with heart.

“My talent as a footballer was medium, but I had to work to overcome my limitations. I think I transferred this to my coaching, but with more talent than I had as a player.”

Chelsea is more than just a football club to me; it's a passion I share, and my affinity with the Chelsea badge is one that will last forever. As far as watching my favourite team is concerned, I'd rather miss a meal than miss a Chelsea game.
