Ahead of Chelsea’s Community Shield match against Arsenal next Sunday, Chelsea goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois has revealed the Blues are ready for Arsenal.
Courtois also revealed Chelsea want to win the Community Shield against Arsenal and use it as a launch pad to have a good season.
“We will do our best to win the Community Shield and I think we are ready for it. Let’s see if we have a good season,” Courtois told Goal.
“We had some good training which was important for us. The first game against Arsenal [a 3-0 win in Beijing] was good.
“The last two games we didn’t play bad but we gave away balls for counter-attacks that is something we have to improve. The training has been good – and that’s the most important part.”
