Chelsea defender Gary Cahill was involved in Saturday’s 3-0 demolition of Arsenal in Beijing, China.
Cahill revealed after the game that he was impressed with Chelsea’s performance against Arsenal as the Blues opened our tour of Asia with an eye-catching display.
“We played well in difficult conditions, the pitch wasn’t the best and it was very humid, which people probably don’t see at home,” Cahill told Chelsea’s official website.
“We were playing against a top side. They’ve made a few signings and they had a strong team out. In terms of games they’re a little bit ahead of us but it was the perfect start.
“Thibaut pulled off one great save at the end of the first half but aside from that all of the chances fell our way. We created a lot and got in behind them quite a few times.”
