According to France Football, Chelsea haven’t been able to complete the signing of Bakayoko because he has a knee problem that requires surgery and will be out for 8-10 weeks.

However, the reliable Matt Law of The Telegraph disagrees with the report by France Football. According to Matt Law, Bakayoko does not require a new operation and he revealed the midfielder hopes to complete his Chelsea medical this week after a delay over a knee injury.

Even though the report by France Football and Matt Law are conflicting, they both agree on one thing – Bakayoko’s Chelsea move has been delayed due to his knee injury.

So with the 22-year-old midfielder pictured with a private jet, can we confidently say he is heading to London to complete his Chelsea transfer? We would definitely know for sure in the coming hours.
