Chelsea lost the FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium last season, as the Blues lost 2-1 to bitter rivals, Arsenal.
Chelsea were favourites for the game but a bad start coupled with a goal that shouldn’t have stood and a red card to Victor Moses made Chelsea lose the game.
But for David Luiz, he still cherishes the loser’s medal as it teaches him a lot.
“I keep my medal because many teams didn’t arrive in the Final,” he told the Evening Standard. “So we were behind only one team, although we need to learn from this game. We didn’t play a good match, not at our high level, but we need to see what we did before that, to arrive there. So, it depends on your view in life.
“It was a day to learn from but also a day to be proud and say we did a great season. We talk about the results but when you are inside football as a player you need to see everything if you want to improve.”
