Chelsea boss Antonio Conte signed Alvaro Morata when he was in Juventus but never got to utilise the 24-year-old as he left the Turin club afterwards.
The Italian now has the chance to show what he can do with the Spain international after Real Madrid and Chelsea agreed a fee for the 24-year-old.
Morata will sign a five-year contract worth €9m (net) per year according to AS.
Speaking to AS, Morata has revealed that Conte has shown so much faith in him.
“I’m going to the team managed by the coach who has placed the most faith in me, and that’s great for me,” he said.
The Spain international seems intent on being at Chelsea in the long haul and has revealed that he won’t be going back to Real Madrid for the third time.
Speaking about a return to Real Madrid, Morata told AS: “A third time… is difficult. Right now I’m not considering it.”
