For weeks now, Chelsea have been looking for the striker that will replace Diego Costa as the club’s top forward and Chelsea have eventually agreed a fee to land Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata.

And for former Blues goalkeeper Mark Bosnich, the 24-year-old has what it takes to shine in the Premier League and fill the void that will be left by Costa.

Bosnich believes Morata will do the job despite his lack of Premier League experience.

“That’s always a worry regardless of the position of the player if they haven’t played in the Premier League,” he said on talkSPORT.

“The Premier League is played at an intensive pace which you don’t get anywhere else in the world.

“You’ve always got that concern. Obviously his quality is second to none, you don’t get to go to Real Madrid unless your quality is up there.”
