Chelsea youngster Jeremy Boga has had an eventful pre-season so far and has caught the eyes of Chelsea fans and possibly Antonio Conte with his dazzling display.
It wasn’t meant to be but the 20-year-old had to take opportunity of Pedro’s injury against Arsenal, and to his credit, the youngster has done a good job.
“Obviously I would not wish an injury like Pedro’s on any player but I have been getting a lot of minutes, more than I expected so I am very happy with that and I try to make the best out of all the minutes I get,” Boga told the official Chelsea website.
Boga also believes he’s now a better player than before and have matured a lot more in his game.
“It is different, I feel more mature in my game and I am better within the team,” he explains.
“I am more strong physically and I am better tactically as well, so I think I have grown a lot and I am very happy to be on pre-season with Chelsea.”
