Chelsea have been linked with a number of players this summer and Inter Milan winger Antonio Candreva has also been linked with the Blues.
Antonio Conte worked with the Inter Milan winger while he was in charge of the Italy national team and is said to be considering a move for the 30-year-old.
Candreva has spoken about the Chelsea links and has revealed that he’s flattered to be linked with Chelsea.
He said: “The links with Chelsea are nice, but there’s been absolutely nothing to date. The club will take care of any bids that may come in.”
He then added that despite the links with Chelsea he feels honoured to wear the inter Milan jersey.
He told the Italian media: “I’m proud to wear this shirt, I’ve bought into an important project here and I’m happy to be here.
“This jersey has an important history, which is honoured every time I wear it.”
Speaking about a possible move to Chelsea, his agent Federico Pastorello told Italian outlet FCInter: “Antonio is very calm at the moment and is only thinking about Inter.
“He’s happy with the arrival of [Luciano] Spalletti as the new coach.
“I would say it’s 80 per cent that he stays at Inter but Chelsea? You cannot exclude anything at the moment.”
