Young Bayern Munich midfielder Renato Sanches is eager to leave Bayern Munich this summer after failing to get enough game time for the German club since his £40 million move from Benfica last summer.
Sanches impressed for Bayern during the club’s 3-2 victory over Chelsea in a preseason friendly and according to a report by Daily Mail, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte asked Bayern Munich manager Carlo Ancelotti about the availability of the 19-year-old after the match.
With Bayern Munich signing Corentin Tolisso from Lyon this summer, it’s been claimed that Sanches isn’t part of Ancelotti’s plans for the new season.
It will be difficult to convince Bayern Munich to sell the 19-year-old midfielder after Bayern chairman Karlheinz Rumminegge confirmed Bayern Munich will only let Sanches leave on loan.
Rummenigge told Corriere dello Sport: “We still feel he can become a good player and that he can help Bayern. He does not want to leave but he wants to play. He is young and need to do it regularly. So if we let him leave we will only do it on a loan.”
Serie A side AC Milan are reportedly close to signing the 19-year-old midfielder in a two-year loan deal.
