With Chelsea striker Diego Costa set to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, Chelsea are in the market for a new striker.
The Blues are reportedly interested in signing either Alvaro Morata of Real Madrid, Andrea Belotti of Torino and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Borussia Dortmund.
According to Manu Sainz, a reporter with Spanish media outfit AS, Chelsea could make a move for Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola willing to let the 29-year-old striker leave the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero has been linked with an exit from the Etihad following the arrival of Gabriel Jesus in January and if the report by Sainz is genuine, then Aguero could be a Chelsea player this summer.
Aguero has scored 122 Premier League goals for City in 181 games since arriving from Atletico Madrid in 2011 but the striker is also known to be injury prone.
