Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is reportedly keen to join Manchester United following the arrival of Tiemoue Bakayoko from AS Monaco this summer.
Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is reportedly willing to let the 28-year-old midfielder join Manchester United just as he granted Petr Cech’s wish to join rivals Arsenal, despite then manager of Chelsea, Jose Mourinho, being against the move, according to a report on Daily Mail.
A fee is yet to be agreed between Manchester United and Chelsea but the Blues will reportedly demand at least £50 million for Matic.
Chelsea are however prepared to less than the £50 million valuation to Inter Milan and Juventus, who are also interested in signing Matic. Chelsea would rather not sell to Manchester United but would let Matic join United if they submit a bid of £50 million.
