Besides Diego Costa, Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is another regular from last season that doesn’t fit into Antonio Conte’s plan for the new season.
His replacement Tiemoue Bakayako has already been signed but it’s yet to be seen where the Serbian will be next season.
Reports now claim that the towering midfielder has urged the club to sort out his future within the next two days.
Matic is valued at around £40million by Chelsea and according to The Sun, he has his heart set on a move to Old Trafford to work with Jose Mourinho.
Reports claim Manchester United are ready to offer the 28-year-old midfielder a four-year deal worth £150,000-a-week. And in order to force through the move, Matic has reportedly told Chelsea that he wants his future to be clarified within the next 48 hours.
