Blues legend John Terry has been tracked by Aston Villa and a host of other clubs since it became clear that he has played his last game as a Chelsea player.
According to ESPN FC, sources close to the player have told them that the former Chelsea captain has agreed to join Aston Villa.
Terry became a free agent after leaving Chelsea once his contract expired at Stamford Bridge earlier this summer, and Villa boss Steve Bruce has been keen on signing the Chelsea legend.
The 36-year-old considered hanging up his boots, but has now opted to continue his career in the Championship with Aston Villa.
Terry will be Villa’s first signing this summer and has even been promised that he could handle the Villa squad in the near future.
