Chelsea have been linked with Everton striker Romelu Lukaku for the second summer in a row, and with the 24-year-old interested in exiting Everton, Chelsea are said to be favourites for his signature.
Lukaku is Chelsea’s main striking target this summer and according to The Telegraph’s Matt Law, the Belgian is Conte’s “number one target,” and the Italian believes the striker “can live up to any price tag.”
Lukaku scored 25 goals in the Premier League last season, his most prolific campaign in the English top flight yet.
The Belgian is seen as the replacement for Diego Costa who has been told to leave the club by Chelsea boss Antonio Conte.
