Chelsea and Manchester City were interested in signing Brazilian full-back Danilo from Real Madrid, but Pep Guardiola’s side has beaten Chelsea to the signing of the right-back.
Chelsea have signed four players already this summer and the Blues are still in need of a wing-back.
According to reports, Chelsea still want backup for Victor Moses and Marcos Alonso in the wing-back roles and the Blues are now determined to sign Alex Sandro from Juventus after being beaten to the signing of Danilo.
However, signing Sandro might be a huge task as Juve are reluctant to allow a world-class performer in the left-wing-back position depart this late in the summer.
