New Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger has finally joined the Chelsea squad and took part in a light warm up ahead of the Blues’ friendly against Bayern Munich.

Rudiger who has since been signed to Chelsea was given an extended leave due to his participation in the Confederations Cup with Germany.

The 24-year-old flew out to the Far East last night, and undertook some light jogging on the Singapore National Stadium pitch while his Chelsea team-mates prepared for their International Champions Cup match against Bayern Munich.

Rudiger didn’t feature in the game, but will play in Chelsea’s next game against Inter Milan.

Rudiger was signed from Roma in a £34 million deal.
