Six Chelsea youngsters were part of the England team that won the UEFA U-19 Championship in Georgia.

Chelsea young left-back Jay Dasilva captained the team with Dujon Sterling lining up on the opposite flank. Chelsea academy Player of the Year, Mason Mount, had an impressive game as he claimed assists for both goals as England won Portugal 2-1.

Trevoh Chalobah, the younger brother of former Chelsea midfielder Nathaniel Chalobah, missed the finals after picking up an injury in the group stage of the completion.

Jacob Maddox and Reece James started the semi-final but were unused substitutes in the final.

This triumph caps a remarkable summer for England youngsters, with the involvement of Chelsea youngsters very prominent. The Under-21s reached their Euro semi-finals and the Under-17s were runners-up, while the Under-20s were crowned World Cup winners and a mixed-age group retained the Toulon Tournament.
