Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma is primed for a loan move away from Stamford Bridge this summer and Stoke City are reportedly the favourites for his signature.
The Potters have held talks with Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma over a loan move to the Bet365 and former Stoke defender Mike Pejic has written in his regular column for the Stoke Sentinel, on Zouma’s possible switch to the Bet365 stadium after he has signed a contract extension with the Blues.
Pejic has backed the Potters boss Mark Hughes’ intentions to sign the Chelsea centre-back. He said: “Kurt Zouma would be a good signing for Mark Hughes. He did well before he got injured, a big, strong lad – and it will be interesting to see if his arrival meant the manager is tempted to go with three centre-backs.”
Zouma was on the rise in his Chelsea career before his ill-fated injury that kept him out of action for nine months.
