Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is the man of the moment as rumours strongly suggest Chelsea are interested in signing the 28-year-old Borussia Dortmund striker.
The Gabon international who netted 42 goals for club and country last season is said to be available for around £60m to £70m.
Since Chelsea lost out to signing Romelu Lukaku from Everton, the Blues have been strongly linked with Aubameyang. However, AC Milan are said to be interested in the striker who topped Bundlesliga scoring chart ahead of Robert Lewandowski last season.
At the end of last season, Aubameyang indicated that he’s ready to leave Dortmund for a bigger challenge.
He said: “If I want to go to the next level, I need to leave in summer. But we must see the proposals and if I’m going to play.”
Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke has also admitted that they will sell Aubameyang for the right price this summer.
“We will listen to it when a club is willing to show its appreciation for Aubameyang in a financial way as well,” Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke told Bild.
So the ball is now in Chelsea’s court if they truly want Aubameyang.
