With Chelsea 3-0 down, Chelsea boss Antonio Conte brought on Chelsea record signing, Alvaro Morata, for Michy Batshuayi in the 59th minute and the Spaniard had an instant impact.
Morata headed home a Willian cross just nine minutes into his Premier League debut and then turned provider for David Luiz’s goal in the closing stages of the game.
By scoring against Burnley, Morata has now scored on his debuts in the Premier League, Serie A and La Liga.
Morata showed how good he is in the air during Chelsea’s 3-2 defeat to Burnley. Only Torino striker Andrea Belotti (10) has scored more headed goals in Europe’s top 5 leagues since August 2016 than Morata (7).
