Reports claim Danny Drinkwater’s move from Leicester City to Chelsea is imminent after reports from SFR Sport claimed that Chelsea have agreed a fee with Leicester City thought to be around £28 million.
Summer signing Tiemoue Bakayako, who joined Chelsea from Monaco in a £40 million deal has admitted that he isn’t scared of the coming of Drinkwater, while adding that the coming of the 27-year-old will help boost the squad.
“I’m not scared of any player but it’s competition and that’s what makes you better,” Bakayako told SFR Sport.
“He [Drinkwater] is a good player and he’s going to help the team.
“We don’t have enough players in the centre and he will make the team stronger.”
