Chelsea summer signing Tiemoue Bakayako is itching to make his Chelsea debut against Tottenham at the Wembley Stadium on Sunday and has told the Chelsea boss that he’s okay to start.

Bakayako has been out of action since the end of last season due to a knee injury, but despite being fit, Conte isn’t willing to risk the 23-year-old.

“About Bakayoko, he is improving very well he is not at the top of physical condition. But i think he can be in contention for the game, because I don’t have another midfielder,” Conte said in his pre-match press conference.

However, Bakayako has gone on to post a message on Instagram that he’s ‘ready’ for Spurs.
