It seems Chelsea defender David Luiz will have to do more this season to leave an impression on Brazil national team manager Tite.
Back in June, Tite recalled David Luiz to the Selecao after over a year’s absence, rewarding him for his wonderful displays in Conte’s 3-4-3 system as Chelsea went on to win the Premier League.
Despite Luiz’s impressive display in Brazil’s game against Australia, it wasn’t enough for Tite and he will miss the next round of upcoming international matches against Ecuador and Colombia, set to be played on August 31st and September 5th, respectively.
However, Willian was called to the squad.
