Chelsea boss Antonio Conte wants Diego Costa out of Chelsea after telling the 28-year-old striker that he isn’t part of his plans for next season.

Serie A club AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Diego Costa on a permanent deal but a report on The Sun claim the forward isn’t interested in a move to AC Milan.

Costa is reportedly still holding out for a return to Atletico Madrid by any means necessary and The Sun claim the 28-year-old striker is hoping his agent, Jorge Mendes, can find a way for him to get back to Spain, without having to get there via Italy.

With Costa only willing to leave Chelsea for Atletico Madrid, Chelsea face paying Diego Costa £185,000-a-week until January.

Costa, who has two years left on his contract, is still in his native Brazil after he was given an extended break by Chelsea to sort out his Stamford Bridge exit.
