Chelsea have launched a late £21million bid to sign Torino right back Davide Zappacosta according to a report on Daily Mail.
According to Daily Mail, the 25-year-old Italy international is heading to London for a medical with his lawyer Luca Pastore.
Zappacosta will reportedly sign a four year contract worth around £45,000 a week after tax.
Chelsea boss Antonio Conte reportedly wanted former Arsenal player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to provide competition at right wing-back but the England international opted to join Liverpool due to playing time concerns and his desire to play in central midfield.
Zappacosta has four full Italy caps and has been at Torino for two seasons and Conte would be happy to finally get a player that would provide competition for Victor Moses.
