Chelsea record signing Alvaro Morata was brought on from the bench for Michy Batshuayi as his introduction sparked a Chelsea revival, with the Blues coming back from 3-0 to end the game 3-2.

Speaking after the game, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte admitted that he was pleased with the performance of Morata and he couldn’t have asked for more.

Conte said: “Alvaro has a good space to improve himself and is working very well and hard to find quickly as soon as possible a good fitness and then to adapt very quickly himself to our style of football.

“He played very well the last 30 minutes and added a lot, scored the one goal and played a really good game. That is good news for us. We have to work, we must know this. There is only this way for me and my players.”
