It’s obvious for all that Chelsea need new signings as the team looks thin to compete on all fronts this season, with Champions League football to resume next month.

Antonio Conte has often reiterated his desire to add quality to the Chelsea team and according to reports, the Italian was part of a SIX hour meeting on transfers held earlier today.

According to the Mirror, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is determined to back his manager in the market and Chelsea are lining up a splurge worth more than £120million between now and 11pm on Thursday, August 31.

Arsenal player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain seems a priority for Conte with the Italian also keen on Danny Drinkwater and a host of other names.
