Chelsea were drawn in the same Champions League group as Atletico Madrid, AS Roma and Qarabag of Azerbaijan and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte believes it’s a tough group.

When asked what he thinks of Chelsea’s Champions League group, Conte said: “It’s a tough group stage but when you play this type of competition you must be prepared to face strong teams, the best teams in Europe.

“I think in this moment it’s very difficult to tell whether it’s a good group or a bad group.

“It’s important to play well in this type of game and to try to perform out best.”

Conte also talked about the long trip to Azerbaijan to play Qarabag.

“Long trip, long trip. I played with the national team against Azerbaijan and I remember our trip was very long,” Conte said.

“We have to face this situation and we will do this.”
