Chelsea are yet to make any signing since Alvaro Morata joined the Blues from Real Madrid.
It’s expected that Chelsea need three or four more players to bolster the squad that looks so thin and depleted.
One may ask what will happen if Chelsea don’t make these signings as the transfer window closes in six days time. But Conte doesn’t feel the pressure and thinks his team could still challenge for the title.
He told the media: “I think it’s not important to feel strong, it’s important to show you’re strong on the pitch.
“In every case we have to continue to work. If the club is very good in the transfer market to get new players I will be very happy otherwise I repeat I will continue to work with my players and I’m happy to work with these players that we have.”
