Everton lost 2-0 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge this afternoon and Chelsea boss Antonio Conte revealed after the game that it wasn’t easy for Everton as the Merseyside club played three games in seven days.

“They’re a strong team,” Conte said.

“They’ve played three games in seven days, and it’s not easy.

“It wasn’t easy for Everton today but in this case you must be really focused and to try and play the game in the right way, and I think we did this.”
